"Tamryn’s villa is gorgeous, it’s a secluded paradise but within easy reach of lovely local restaurants and beaches. Charith and Tharaka, the house keeper and gardener were so lovely, especially with our children, and we really appreciated the lovely food cooked by them and just feeling that someone was always there should we need anything. The house dogs were really friendly and the children loved them. We literally couldn’t fault a thing, we can’t wait to return one day! It’s such a wonderful base to explore Sri Lanka…if you’re reading this, book it!"

"We absolutely loved everything about the villa. Furnished and decorated it beautifully and the location is perfect - we loved being set back from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to everything - a little haven of tranquility.
Charith and Taraka were brilliant - very attentive, welcoming and friendly. We were so well looked after.
We would love to return and can’t imagine staying anywhere else other than Tamba PraNa. We’re already trying to figure out when next we can visit!"

"By far the absolute best place we've ever had. Everything from getting in touch to checking out is just great.
Charith and Tharaka are the pearls of the house. We were lovingly cared for during our stay. Charith surprised us every morning with a delicious breakfast and even responded to the children's special requests.
The villa was cleaned daily, fresh flowers were on the table... just loving detail work.
The great view from the pool over the paddy fields and simultaneous privacy speaks for itself. Those who don't feel comfortable here can actually no longer be helped.

What a truly fantastic stay we had at Villa Tamba Prana.
Thank you, Tammy. The setting was beautiful, and our housekeeper, Charith, and groundsman, Tharaka, made all of us feel so welcome at the villa. Our time at the home wouldn’t have been the same without them. Charith cooked for us on a few nights and each morning, and the food was delicious, to say the least.This is an incredible introduction to authentic Sri Lankan cuisine with genuine, sincere hospitality.
I’d highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Sri Lanka!

We had a wonderful time at Tamba Prana - Charith and Tharaka are both wonderful and made us feel right at home.

We had the most wonderful week at Tamba PraNa. The house, pool and surrounding paddy fields were a tranquil paradise.
Starting the mornings spotting wildlife on the terrace alongside the delicious breakfast was incredible. The house is beautiful and was also kept perfectly clean throughout the stay. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed and the outdoor bathroom was particularly magical.
If you are thinking about booking to stay at Tamba PraNa, don’t hesitate!
We made incredible memories for life at this unforgettable place!

We had the most wonderful stay at this villa. Tamryn has created something truly special – an old colonial house beautifully restored with great taste and attention to detail. The atmosphere is unique, elegant, and very comfortable.
The staff does an extraordinary job and made us feel at home from the very first moment. A special mention goes to Charith, who is not only extremely welcoming but also an outstanding chef – his mastery of the local cuisine turned every meal into a highlight of our trip.
We can wholeheartedly recommend this place 100% and will definitely be coming back – hopefully sooner rather than later!

"Nestled in nature and amongst the rice fields, our stay at this heavenly retreat stands out as one of the most luxurious experiences we've ever had… Surrounded by lush greenery and teeming wildlife, including a delightful array of tropical birds.
The kingfisher sipping from the pool each morning and the dance of peacocks was so special to see.
Charith and Tharaka tended to our every need with impeccable care, ensuring our rooms, the pool, and the villa were always in pristine condition. The breakfast spread they served each morning was so delicious.
Tammy's responsiveness and insightful recommendations about the local area were so helpful! Even the adorable and friendly resident dogs added to the charm of the place. We're already planning a group reunion for next year at what the villa became named as 'Barbie's Dream House.'"
