"Tamryn’s villa is gorgeous, it’s a secluded paradise but within easy reach of lovely local restaurants and beaches. Charith and Tharaka, the house keeper and gardener were so lovely, especially with our children, and we really appreciated the lovely food cooked by them and just feeling that someone was always there should we need anything. The house dogs were really friendly and the children loved them. We literally couldn’t fault a thing, we can’t wait to return one day! It’s such a wonderful base to explore Sri Lanka…if you’re reading this, book it!"

"We absolutely loved everything about the villa. Furnished and decorated it beautifully and the location is perfect - we loved being set back from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to everything - a little haven of tranquility.
Charith and Taraka were brilliant - very attentive, welcoming and friendly. We were so well looked after.
We would love to return and can’t imagine staying anywhere else other than Tamba PraNa. We’re already trying to figure out when next we can visit!"

"By far the absolute best place we've ever had. Everything from getting in touch to checking out is just great.
Charith and Tharaka are the pearls of the house. We were lovingly cared for during our stay. Charith surprised us every morning with a delicious breakfast and even responded to the children's special requests.
The villa was cleaned daily, fresh flowers were on the table... just loving detail work.
The great view from the pool over the paddy fields and simultaneous privacy speaks for itself. Those who don't feel comfortable here can actually no longer be helped.

"Hands down, this was the best accommodation we've ever stayed in! The villa is absolutely stunning—every detail of the interior, the pool, and the breathtaking view was incredible. It's perfectly located, just a short tuk-tuk ride from everything, yet it remains a peaceful, quiet haven. You can enjoy your morning coffee while watching peacocks dance and monkeys leap between palm trees—a truly magical experience!Charith and Tharaka went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. They are incredibly kind and welcoming, and we felt so lucky to have them around."

"Our stay in the villa exceeded all expectations. We felt right at home. We traveled with two kids who loved the pool, played with the puppies, and watched kingfishers and peacocks while my husband and I had a glass of wine with the most beautiful view of the paddy fields. The villa is located near one of the most beautiful beaches where you can swim with turtles. The biggest added value to this beautiful place is the two wonderful people who make sure you feel at home and ease. Charith prepared wonderful breakfasts and even dinners when we couldn't go to a restaurant, and Tharaka made sure the garden and pool were always clean. They were full of interesting information, and lovely to talk with. I highly recommend it!"

​Particularly enchanting was the al fresco bathroom, boasting chic fixtures and adorned with handcrafted Sri Lankan textiles, cushions, and bedspreads, adding a touch of elegance and local charm.

The villa's serene ambiance, makes it the perfect sanctuary for indulging in activities like reading, writing, and painting on the veranda, while overlooking the lush green paddy fields, home to a spectacular array of birds, from majestic peacocks to vibrant kingfishers.

"Tamryn’s house is a haven of tranquility minutes from the crazy beach road . The setting in paddy fields with villagers quietly cycling through the fields ; cattle grazing with egrets; and wild peacocks; a kingfisher dipping into the swimming pool; monkeys on the jungle slopes across from the house; and the fish seller calling out as he cycled his cart along the valley pathways. The housekeeper spoke good english and security man were so kind and willing."

"Nestled in nature and amongst the rice fields, our stay at this heavenly retreat stands out as one of the most luxurious experiences we've ever had… Surrounded by lush greenery and teeming wildlife, including a delightful array of tropical birds.
The kingfisher sipping from the pool each morning and the dance of peacocks was so special to see.
Charith and Tharaka tended to our every need with impeccable care, ensuring our rooms, the pool, and the villa were always in pristine condition. The breakfast spread they served each morning was so delicious.
Tammy's responsiveness and insightful recommendations about the local area were so helpful! Even the adorable and friendly resident dogs added to the charm of the place. We're already planning a group reunion for next year at what the villa became named as 'Barbie's Dream House.'"
